Manami Yamamoto, LMFT, is the Founder and Director of Blue Humming Therapy and the Mental Health Environmental Change Project. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Expressive Arts Therapist, she immigrated to the U.S. from Japan at age 19 and now specializes in providing psychotherapy and psychoeducation to diverse clients and communities such as minorities and underserved populations, focusing on breaking down stigma around mental health. Recognized with the Global Award in 2021, Manami uses creative, nontraditional approaches to co-create holistic mental health solutions with her clients. She also advocates for addressing environmental factors in mental health care and works to promote accessible, equitable services worldwide.
