Dr. Rascón specializes in family-based diabetes prevention and management in Latino communities. She has taught didactic, experiential, and clinical courses, and directed the Global Health Collaboratory at Edson College, leading international and intercultural student initiatives. Dr. Rascón has practiced nursing in diverse locations, including Jamaica, Mexico, Peru, the Solomon Islands, and participated in free mobile clinics in Phoenix. Her clinical experience spans oncology, medical-surgical, telemetry, medical ICU, and trauma ICU.
